Terrible service and company
They said they'd issued me a refund TWICE after my product failed to turn up. I never received my refund 2 months on. Absolutely terrible company and the worst customer experience I've ever experienced. Do not purchase anything from them.

Atrocious customer service
Atrocious customer service. In short, they no nothing about their own products. IF they knew anything, how hard would it be to give a yes or no answer to - Is a fuse required to install a Garmin Zumo XT on a bike? Their response - "we are not installers"! Garmin is a decent product when it works - when it doesn't - forget any help from Garmin. Save your money and buy another brand if you want some degree of security and help if needed.

I bought a Garmin Avtex tourer two sat…
I bought a Garmin Avtex tourer two sat nav and took it out of the box to update it, half way through it said update failed and then froze screen just flickering, rang Garmin who said they would collect it which they did the next day, they sent me a brand new one within two days all working perfectly, really good customer service I can't fault them.

Worst eaych I ever owned. Does not keep acurate results for sleep tracking. I threw my watch away. Stay away from Garmin wayches

Garmin Venu SQ Music does what it should and More.
I was Cycling one morning when my Garmin Venu SQ Music decided to send my emergency contact a text stating I had been involved in an incident, they immediately tried to contact me as you would. Not being able to contact me they then phoned the closest 3 hospitals and started a search with various people trying to locate me. The eventually were able to contact me, I can't imagine what they felt during this process. Garmin in Australia has no method for support or to leave an inquiry outside of weekday business hours. Faults Ok I get that, not impressed with customer support.

My experience with Garmin has been horrific! I purchased a Garmin In Reach for use on the Colorado trail. After hours of non productive discussion with alleged techs at the Garmin Customer Service Center with absolute negative success in utilizing the Garmin In Reach, I decided to return it. I paid $640.00 for this device. I was refunded $109.00. Garmin is unquestionably underqualified and educated on their own products-notwithstanding they kept $500 of refunds due to my credit account. I willl be reporting these issues to the thru hikers on You Tube whom may not realize the negative consequences of dealing with a company such as Garmin.

Lousy Garmin Support
I purchased a Garmin D2 Delta in July of 2019, by the fall of 2021 the altimeter ceased to function properly. I contacted Garmin to have the watch repaired, I expected to pay something for the repair since it was technically out of warranty. I was told no repairs were possible as the watch had been discontinued, but I could spent $350 for a refurbished one. So the $1K watch I purchased a bit over 2 years before was no longer in production and no longer supported. Typical Garmin.

Garmin Venu - Customer Service
Bought a Garmin Venu 3 days ago, Bluetooth on the watch is totally undetectable. It can't be found either through the app or the general Bluetooth list on the phone. Have been through every trouble shooting step imaginable, on several different devices, not just my own. Customer services kept trying to take me through the same trouble shooting that I had already specifically told them that I'd tried. Managed to get the watch on to my account through Garmin express but it still won't pair to the app through Bluetooth.
(My previous Garmin will still pair with no issue so I know it's the watch and nothing else)
It will sync through WiFi but that's of no use if you are away from home.
Told them I would return the watch for a refund and go back to a Forerunner however I would like a discount because Forerunners are significantly more expensive and I had wasted around 9-10 hours over 3 days trying to set this watch up, only to be told that Garmin does not offer discounts at all.
I think if a company refuses to offer discounts or recompense for faults on their products it's because they're not standing by the quality of their product.
I've been loyal to Garmin for years but this whole experience has left me never wanting to use them again, which is a shame because I actually do like the watches.

Had a Garmin Venus watch for 18 months…
Had a Garmin Venus watch for 18 months and the strap broke tried retail stores and jewellers but no store had a replacement. Contacted Garmin and they couldn’t have been more helpful replacement strap being couriered free of charge!!!

Incompetent
Bought an item from their online shop, two weeks later received an email saying it won’t be in stock for another 6 weeks but I can cancel it online , unfortunately couldn’t do it as every time I tried it showed as order being processed. Called customer service and cancelled over the phone , two weeks later received an email saying my order will be delivered at a certain date, called customer service again and they confirmed it should have been cancelled but decided they going to send it charge me anyway.

I've pulled my hair out now.
Got on the Garmin page to update the maps of a lifetime maps unit. The web site said I needed to update the firmware and that it could only be done by a technician talking with me over the phone.

The technician I could barely understand remoted into my computer without my permission did something in command prompt, and then claimed I had multiple "chinese viruses" and a trojan horse. He said he couldn't go any further until he sold me McAfee software for 200 dollars. He couldn't tell me how this software was different than what I could get online for less than sixty dollars. I told him I had been running Avast and had not seen this issue.

I said I'd install a paid version of Avast or McAfee and call them back. After we hung up, I couldn't do anything on my computer and the speed was slowed to a snails pace before it locked up. When I restarted the computer, the system rand a checkdisk for some reason...putting me thirty minutes more behind schedule. After this was complete, it seemed as though my computer was completely rearranged.

Desktop icons were in complete disarray. There is something shady about this.

User's recommendation: Consider other brands of GPS.

AWFUL service - I pray you never have to deal with them!
Purchased a £300 instinct solar watch. Lovely looking watch, has multi sports modes, gps, running, cycling etc. Found out that my wife’s forerunner 45s tells her far more fitness information than my £300 instinct solar. When questioning Garmin I get told that the instinct is an ‘adventure’ watch not a fitness watch (even though it offers running, cycling etc). Guess mountain hiking doesn’t need to know vo2 max. Their reply was - buy the instinct 2. No real answer from Garmin as to why it doesn’t offer fitness information (as it’s a fitness tracker) only that it isn’t advertised. Really poor customer service. If you buy from Garmin I pray you never have to contact them for help!

So i have a Nuvi 1350.
So i have a Nuvi 1350.
Love it.
simple to use.
took it out of my car where it has been working perfect.
Charged up every time it needed to.
NO PROBLEM.!
It powered on every tIme.
NO PROBLEM.!
Well i remove it from the car.
Bring it inside.
Hook it up to my laptop.
It powers on.
It says I need a update.
And it says I need to update maps also.
So i agree to update.
And I see I have to pay $49.95 + tax to update the maps part.
so I pay the $51.00 + dollars to finish everything.
About 1/2 hour later it finished and then..
*PROBLEM WILL ROBERTSON*
NOW IT WON'T CHARGE UP.!
NOW IT WON'T POWER UP.!
GREAT .
NOW I HAVE TO GO SPEND MORE MONEY I DON'T HAVE..
THANK YOU FOR RUINING MY DAY AND COSTING ME OVER $150.00 +-.
NOW THAT I HAVE TO BY A NEW ONE.
$51.00 + UPDATE THAT RUINED MY DEVICE.
+ WHATEVER IT WILL COST ME FOR A NEW DEVICE...
